Hell yeah we had fun at the Blaze Josés. So many cool peeps and cold drinks.
Thanks Bob -- you rock.
Sestina floored everyone. A great up-and-coming new band. Keep an eye on them.
O what a night... good times, good times.

hello everybody
just finished a world of mixing for our new album.
this morning i was feeling good about that but my nose was running and
my eyes were sealed shut. allergic to the day or perhaps to all the things
that happened the previous day.
been in the basement a lot. if you ever want to become eccentric
in a short period of time, try spending hours by yourself in a dark and dingy
room
someday i would like to make a background music disc, the kind of music that
is there but people are only half listening, instead of chatting, drinking,
eating, playing pictionary. perhaps i could also only half-listen while making
it
i can't listen to music in the backround, it is foreground for me, which is
a terrible thing because, for example, i can't read and listen to music at
the same time, in the same way i can't read and watch a movie at the same time.
this week, music was in the foreground, but other terrible things were in
the background.
the nightmare in New Orleans had me all worked up, just excruciating to watch.
it really hit one of my two feelings: shame (my other feeling is guilt). not
the first time i've been ashamed to be a citizen of this country, and probably
not the last.
